Pfizer has entered into an agreement with GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) to sell its cholesterol-lowering drugs Lipitor and Cialis (tadalafil) to retailers in the US. GSK is to sell these products in the US, in the UK, and in the rest of the world.
GSK, the UK-based manufacturer of Cialis and Lipitor, will be purchasing 50% of the global market for erectile dysfunction treatments, from 40 countries. GSK will sell the remaining market for erectile dysfunction treatments at a price of £1 per pill.
Lipitor and Cialis are two such erectile dysfunction drugs which are prescribed for a variety of conditions, including heart failure, angina, and prostate problems. Cialis, also known as tadalafil, works by increasing blood flow to the penis, helping to achieve and maintain an erection. Lipitor, on the other hand, helps increase blood flow by increasing the size of the phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5) enzyme in the body. This increased blood flow, in turn, can help men who are already having difficulty getting or maintaining an erection to have sex. As a result, men who have heart disease or other cardiovascular issues may be more likely to have erectile dysfunction. Livalo is a medication used to treat high blood pressure and angina, and can also be used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension and other erectile issues.
The price of Lipitor and Cialis, as well as Lipitor and Viagra, is expected to be around £6.50 per pill. They are widely prescribed and available as a brand-name drug in the US, as well as in a generic form. GSK has been making available the generics for the last few years, in order to improve the overall performance of its products. It is expected that the generic versions of these products will eventually be sold in the US and in Europe, including Japan and other Asian countries. However, the availability of the generics will likely be affected by the patent expiry date of the brand-name drugs.
GSK has entered into a new agreement with Eli Lilly and Company (LLY) to sell its erectile dysfunction treatment Viagra (sildenafil) to retailers in the US. Viagra, also known as sildenafil citrate, is a phosphodiesterase-5 (PDE-5) inhibitor. It works by increasing blood flow to the penis during sexual stimulation, helping men achieve and maintain an erection. Viagra is available in a generic form and is a popular choice for those who cannot take the erectile dysfunction medication.
Viagra is not currently sold in the US by the company that makes the erectile dysfunction medication. However, GSK may make a generic version of the erectile dysfunction medication available through a patent expiry date. Viagra is expected to be available in the US in the next few years, as well as in a generic form, by the end of 2020. It is also possible that a generic version of Viagra will be available in the US, but GSK may also make a new and generic version of Viagra.
Viagra is not currently sold in the US by GSK. However, the brand-name medication is available in generic forms and is widely used by consumers in the US.
GlaxoSmithKline (GSK) is the maker of Viagra and Lipitor. GSK is also the manufacturer of Cialis. Cialis is a generic medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction and is also available under the brand name Levitra. Levitra, which is also available under the brand name Cialis, is a prescription medicine used to treat erectile dysfunction and is manufactured by Bayer Schering-Plough. Levitra is available as a generic medicine, and is also a prescription medicine. Lilly, the UK-based maker of Viagra and Cialis, has a patent for Viagra and Cialis.GSK is the maker of erectile dysfunction treatments, and is the largest manufacturer of Viagra in the world. GSK is the largest maker of Cialis in the world. The company is a global player in the erectile dysfunction treatment market, and is also the largest distributor for erectile dysfunction treatments. It is also the largest supplier of erectile dysfunction treatments to the global market.
It is possible that the patents of GSK and Lilly will expire. However, it is likely that the patents of the Lilly and GSK companies will not expire until 2020, or until 2036.

1.Nitrates (e.g., nitroglycerin, isosorbide dinitrate): Cialis and nitrates both lower blood pressure. Taking them together can cause a significant and potentially life-threatening drop in blood pressure (hypotension), leading to dizziness, fainting, or even heart attack or stroke. It is contraindicated to use Cialis with nitrates or recreational "poppers" (amyl nitrites).
2.Alpha-blockers (e.g., prazosin, terazosin, tamsulosin): Both Cialis and alpha-blockers relax blood vessels, which can lead to excessive blood pressure reduction when used together. This may result in dizziness, fainting, or orthostatic hypotension (a sudden drop in blood pressure when standing). If needed, your doctor may adjust the dosage or recommend spacing the medications.
3.Other antihypertensive drugs (e.g., atenolol, propranolol, enalapril, lisinopril): Cialis can enhance the blood-pressure-lowering effects of these medications. While this interaction is usually less severe than with nitrates or alpha-blockers, it can still cause dizziness or fainting in sensitive individuals. Close monitoring of blood pressure is recommended.
Cialis (tadalafil) can interact with certain foods and beverages, potentially altering its effectiveness or increasing the risk of side effects. Here are the key drug-food interactions to be aware of:
